The Beautiful Chaos of Self-Discovery | Poetry #Poetry #SelfDiscovery #Cinematic TRANSCRIPT: I can see the symphony from her lips, I can tell that she’s tired of singing the same bruised song I know because I too have been singing that exact same song the melancholic choreography, the monologue for external approval i’m scared we living fragmented lives, riddled with the worries of surveillance sometimes, we swim in the tooth cavity of perception instead of sitting lukewarm, at bay with our own internal compass. we play this tug of war with trust that we strain the muscles of our genius. But, I realized, you must pass through the threshold of the pain that emerge from looking in that mirror You must engage with the mingled shades of ourselves in that mirror to discover that there’s always space for you to maneuver, to dream, to be life is a melting pot of garments that we have to learn to let go or arrive into so, be the wool, the fluid lavender scent that warm the skin of your soul for a million and one winters don’t compromise this garment from the external gaze, or the worries from the mirror that it maybe too big don’t worry you’ll grow into it Fascination: beneath the epidermis of our facades Rests a commonality amid us, The perfume of imperfection. And thus, we’re kinfolk, brother and sister, As we are collectively amid this beautiful chaos of self-discovery.
